    The KMAT selection procedure 2026 will commence after the participating institutes of KMAT 2026 release the list of shortlisted candidates. On the basis of their KMAT scores, candidates will be shortlisted for the KMAT 2026 selection procedure.

    KMAT Selection Procedure 2026

    After the declaration of the KMAT result, the institutes that accept the KMAT score will begin the selection procedure for KMAT 2026. Candidates must note that the centralised procedure for admission will not be carried out at the participating institutes.

    Step 1 - The KMAT merit list will be prepared after the declaration of the KMAT 2026 result. The merit list for KMAT will include the names of candidates who have qualified for the examination and are shortlisted for selection rounds.

    Step 2 - The participating institutes of KMAT 2026 will conduct selection rounds as per the admission criteria of the respective institutes. The KMAT 2026 selection procedure for the participating institutes will consist of the following rounds:

    • Group Discussion/Written Ability Test (WAT)
    • Personal Interview

    Step 3 - Shortlisted candidates who clear the selection procedure for KMAT 2026 as per the admission criteria of the participating institutes will be offered final admission. For final admission, students will be required to carry the following documents for the verification process:

    • Marksheet of class 10th and 12th
    • KMAT admit card
    • KMAT scorecard
    • Graduation certificate or marksheet
    • Provisional admission letter
    • Transfer certificate
    • Medical certificate
    • Character certificate
    • Caste certificate (if any)
    • Passport-size photographs
    • Bank draft
