Around 170 participating institutes will accept scores obtained by candidates in KMAT 2026. After the declaration of the KMAT result, test-takers will be eligible to register with the KMAT-accepting colleges in Karnataka for the further KMAT MBA selection process to secure admission to the MBA programme.

KMAT 2026 will be conducted in a remote-based test-proctored mode for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). The following are the KMAT accepting colleges in Bangalore and the rest of Karnataka. The list below encompasses only a few top KMAT score-accepting colleges. KMAT Selection Procedure 2026

Once the KMAT 2026 results are declared, candidates will have to apply to the KMAT 2026 participating institute in which they desire to take admission. Candidates will have to qualify for the selection rounds of KMAT for final admission in KMAT participating institutes. As per the KMAT 2026 selection process, candidates will be assessed based on various skills, such as academic history, speaking, and personality, for admission into KMAT colleges for the MBA programme.

KMAT colleges for MBA will not conduct the centralised selection process. Each institute will conduct the KMAT 2026 selection procedure differently through the following rounds:

• Group Discussion
• Written Ability Test (WAT)

• Personal Interview

Based on the candidate’s performance in the above rounds, students will be offered admission to the KMAT-accepting colleges in Karnataka based on the score obtained.

Important Points to Note for KMAT Karnataka Participating Institutes 2026

• There will be no centralised counselling for admission into KMAT-accepting colleges in Bangalore and the rest of Karnataka.
• All KMAT colleges for MBA will have their own counselling process.
• Candidates are required to apply separately for each KMAT Karnataka participating institute.
• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their KMAT 2026 score and GD/PI.

• The verification of documents is required before the final admission.
