MAT 2026 admit card for CBT (February session) will be out on March 05, 2026, whereas for PBT (February session), the admit card has been released on February 26, 2026. The MAT exam 2026 for the February session will be held in two modes, i.e., CBT and PBT. The registration process for MAT 2026 PBT will close on February 23, 2026, while MAT 2026 registration for CBT (February session) will close on March 2, 2026. The MAT 2026 computer-based test will be held on March 1 and 8, 2026, for the PBT and CBT modes, respectively. The MAT 2026 entrance exam will be conducted in around 70+ test cities. More than 600+ B schools in India will accept the MAT 2026 score. The MAT exam question paper consists of five sections, each with 30 questions. A total of 150 questions are to be attempted over 120 minutes. The MAT exam 2026 structure is given below:

MAT 2.0 includes a newer section, Economic and Business Environment, focusing on current economic trends, financial products and services, and technological interventions in businesses. What is the MAT exam?
The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test conducted since 1988 that helps business schools (B-schools) screen applicants for admission to PGDM/MBA and allied programs. The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, recognised MAT as a national-level examination in 2003.
Any B-school, national or international, can consider the MAT score as an admission input based on the scorecards issued to the candidates. MAT serves as a gateway to 20,000+ prestigious management seats in 600+ B-schools in India.

The MAT fee for PBT or CBT is Rs. 2200. For PBT+CBT, the MAT exam fee is Rs 3800/-.
The MAT cutoff 2026 required to apply for the top MBA colleges accepting MAT scores ranging from 65 to 95.
The AIMA MAT exam for the February session will be held in two modes, i.e., PBT and CBT. The CBT will be held on March 08, 2026, and the PBT will be held on March 01, 2026.
Candidates must be dressed up properly with an official settings and keep all required documents ready.
Candidates should report to the MAT exam centre one hour before the reporting time specified in your MAT 2026 admit card.
The crucial documents that candidates must carry along to the exam centre include Self-declaration Form, hard copy of Admit Card, original Photo ID proof and Photo ID card issued by a recognized institution.

A score of 75 out of 180 (combined MAT and SAT) in the NMMS 2025–26 examination may be enough to qualify, but it might not be sufficient to get the scholarship, since the final cutoff depends on your category and state.
