About PU MET 2026
Panjab University, Chandigarh, will conduct the PU MET exam 2026 on April 12, 2026 (Sunday). The admit card for the PUMET exam 2026 will be released on April 7, 2026 (Tuesday). The registration process for the PU MET 2026 began on December 3, 2026 (Wednesday) and will be closed on April 10, 2026, up to 4 PM. Candidates who are seeking MBA admission at Panjab University can apply for the PUMET exam 2026 online at met.puchd.ac.in. The PU MET 2026 entrance exam will be held only in the Chandigarh centre. The fee payment window for PUMET 2026 will be closed on March 31, 2026 (Tuesday). To apply for PU MET 2026, general candidates have to pay Rs 2710 and SC/ST/PwD candidates have to pay Rs 1355 as registration fee.
What is the PU MET Exam?
PU MET is a university-level entrance examination for admission to the MBA program at Panjab University. The PU MET is an objective-type test consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions. There are 307 MBA seats that will be filled through the PU MET entrance exam. Panjab University offers MBA courses with various specialisations in--

The PU MET will carry 85% weightage and be of 2 hours duration. It will consist of multiple-choice questions having four responses: A, B, C, and D. The components of the PU MET will include: (i) General Knowledge; (ii) Economics and Business Environment Awareness; (iii) Data interpretation and problem solving; (iv) Numerical Ability; (v) Verbal Ability/ Reasoning; and (vi) English Comprehension.
