    SNAP Exam Pattern 2024

    Symbiosis International University, which is responsible for conducting the SNAP 2024 examination, has not yet prescribed any changes in the SNAP 2024 exam pattern, and hence it follows the same pattern as the previous years. While the difficulty and type of questions may change, the exam pattern is to be uniform across all three SNAP exam tests.     SNAP Exam 2024 Test 3 Analysis

    A candidate’s exam journey doesn’t end with attempting the test. They must also ensure that they participate in a comprehensive analysis of the SNAP examination that they have taken. As a candidate who has appeared in test 3 of the SNAP examination, candidates should ensure that they are aware of the slot 1 and slot 2 analysis of the SNAP examination and prepare accordingly.

    General English

    • The General English section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper was the most easiest section as per the feedback of the students. This was in alignment with the SNAP 2024 test 1 question paper and the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper. Out of 15, experts have hinted 10-12 to be the number of best attempts in this section with an accuracy of 90- 95%.

    • As far as the General English section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper is concerned, the candidates were asked questions from a wide range of topics such as idioms, synonyms and antonyms, figure of speech and fill-in-the-blanks.

    • There were no para jumble questions asked in the General English Section. This

    • The General English section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper was easy to doable, but the Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude questions were time-consuming.

    • There were no Reading comprehension questions.

    Analytical and Logical Reasoning

    • The Logical Reasoning section was lengthy compared to both the SNAP 2024 test 1 and test 2 question papers. While the questions were doable in nature, the length of the questions was large and hence it was time-consuming. This section greatly constituted the overall lengthy nature of the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper.

    • One noticeable change in the analytical and reasoning section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 examination was that there was no question on clocks while two questions were asked from the calendar topic.

    • The logical reasoning section also included 2 questions on the series. One was numeric based while the other was alphanumeric.

    • In the Logical Reasoning section, there were 3-4 questions based on truth and lies.

    • The Logical Reasoning questions were heavily focused on assumption-based questions. There were also 2- 3 questions on causes and effects.

    • In the logical reasoning section of the SNAP 2024 test 3, the candidates were asked 2 questions on arrangement. One question was asked based on phrase coding which was a surprise.

    • One question on syllogism was also asked in the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper.

    Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency

    • The Quantitative Aptitude section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper was arithmetic-dominated. There were questions asked on the topics such as number systems, quadratic equations, mensuration and percentages. The difficulty level of the quantitative aptitude section was in alignment with the SNAP 2024 test 1 question paper.

    • The quantitative aptitude questions were do-able but lengthy which was a major concern of the candidates.

    • There were 2 -3 questions from mensuration which included lengthy calculations.

    • The candidates were asked one question from the Time, Speed and Distance topic and mixture and alligations.

    • There were also two questions from the time and work topic in the Quantitative Aptitude section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 examination.

    • The two questions on percentages were based on successive percentages and normal percentages. This was also observed in the SNAP 2024 slot 2 question paper.

    SNAP Exam 2024 Test 3: Memory-Based Questions

    • The diameter of a ball was given and it was vertically placed in a hollow cylinder. The height and volume of the cylinder was given. The topmost vertical distance of ball from the cylinder was required to be calculated.
    • Complete the series 5,6,7,210,7,8,9,504,8,9,10,?
    • There was a question on narcotics under the binary logic section.
    • 2-3 blood relation questions were asked.
    • There was also a decision criteria based question in which the candidate's acceptance must be determined by analyzing the various eligibility norms.
    • A figure of speech question on Peter Piper was asked.
    • One General English question was based on the idiom, 'Pen is Mightier than the Sword'.
    • One Logical Reasoning Statement and Assumption question was based on advertisement

    SNAP 2023 Test 3 Analysis

    A few important observations from test 3 of the SNAP 2024 examination are given below for the reference of the candidates.

    • The SNAP 2024 test 3 followed the same exam pattern as SNAP 2023 test 1 and test 2.

    • Similar to the previous tests, the General English section was considered to be the easiest. Out of the 15 questions asked in this set, the candidates had around 10 easy-level questions that could be solved. A good attempt of 11- 13 questions in this section can help the candidates boost their SNAP 2024 percentile.

    • In the General English section questions were asked from topics such as Tense, Idiom, Passive form, Correct statement, Figure of speech, Part of sentence, Noun, Adverb/Adjective, Model filler, Prefix, Compound word, Conditional statement, Proverb, Filler and Antonym.

    • The Analytical & Logical Reasoning section also had 25 questions which were also placed under the easy to difficult level. The candidates were expected to score between 16 - 20 marks in this section to secure a good SNAP percentile score.

    • From both the verbal and non-verbal reasoning questions asked under the Analytical and Logical Reasoning section of the SNAP 2023 examination, questions were asked from the following sub-topics: Cause-Effect, Statement & Assumption, Visual reasoning, Clock and calendar, Blood relation, Odd one out, Analogy (number based), Statement & Course of Action, Binary logic, Word arrangement, Statement & Conclusion, Passage (Conclusion), Arrangement and Series

    • Out of all the tests, the Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency section proved to be the challenging set. While questions were not of very high difficulty, they were still placed under the moderate level. There were a few time-consuming questions among the 20 questions asked in this section.

    • Questions from the Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency were taken from the sub-topics such as Profit & loss, Series, TSD, Logarithm, Data Interpretation, Ratio, Simple Interests -Compound Interests, Percentage, PnC, Set, LCM & HCF, Averages and Age.
