In the previous year, more than 49,000 candidates applied for the AP ICET, out of which over 44,447 candidates appeared for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam on the scheduled date. • After considering section A marks, if the score is still the same, then in such case, section B marks will be considered
• If a tie still persists, the candidate's age will be considered, and the older candidate will get priority.

How to Determine Rank In Case of a Tie

In case more than one candidate scores the same marks, the authorities will apply a tiebreaker to determine the rank of the candidate.

• Section A - If two or more candidates score the same marks, the one who scores more marks in Section A will be ranked higher in the AP ICET merit list.
• Section B - In case the candidate's score is still the same in Section A, then those who score more marks in Section B will be ranked higher.

The minimum marks required to move to the next round of selection is called the cutoff of AP ICET. AP ICET Participating institutes will release separate AP ICET 2025 cutoffs. Once the result is declared and participating institutes release the cutoffs, shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the AP ICET counselling. Once the participating institutes release the provisional allotment list, the counselling of AP ICET 2025 will commence in online mode. General category candidates will be required to submit counselling fees of Rs 1200 and Reserved category candidates will be required to submit Rs 600.
